BioI am a 33 yr old mother of two beautiful daughters.I am a jack of all trades kind of crafter and like to try all things. Two years ago, I was given a kit to needlefelt a lion. Afterwards, life took over and I wasn`t able to expand on my experience. Then I came across Etsy.com. Etsy has some of the most wonderful suppliers for needle felt that I had ever seen and in March 2010, I decided to take a serious study of needle felting and have been felting ever since. Needle felt, for me, is a total expression of the body. You have to really have a feeling of appreciation and creativity to make a sculpture that represents a treasured piece of someone`s life. The wool, the colors and the skill amount to a great deal of love when you felt a bit and you see the sculpture start to emerge out of the fluff. I have learned so much and I can appreciate that there is soo much more to learn. My sculpting skills are improved through each and every sculpture I make. I also am not afraid to try new fibers. I used all kinds sheep, camel, llama, goat, rabbit. I also love the plant silks, bamboo, corn, hemp etc. I now have a shop on Etsy.com called FibreHeart. Located at www.firbreheart.etsy.com. Here I sculpted your pet either on my own or from your pictures. I also am now adding one of a kind sculptures. I thankyou for your site and I am glsd to have this opportunity to become a member.
